We're excited to create an inclusive, productive environment where everyone can learn, collaborate, and build amazing things together. This is Gamma's first time inviting our community into our home, and we want to make it an amazing experience for everyone. Please help us maintain this by reading and following these guidelines:
Respect & Inclusion
Assume positive intent: Engage respectfully and constructively, even when disagreeing
Share the floor: Give space for others to contribute before speaking again
Welcome diverse perspectives: Value different backgrounds, experiences, and approaches
Use inclusive language: Be mindful of how your words might affect others
Engagement & Participation
Show up on time: Arrive promptly for all sessions to respect everyone's time
Stay present: Limit side conversations and device use during sessions (unless for the activity)
Participate actively: Contribute to discussions and group activities
Ask questions: No question is too basic - we're all here to learn
Offer help: Share your expertise and support fellow participants
Time & Focus
Respect time: Be punctual for all sessions and keep comments within suggested time limits
Stay on topic: Help keep discussions relevant to the session goals
Respect breaks: Take breaks to recharge so you can be fully present
Collaboration & Learning
Give constructive feedback: Focus on ideas and work, not personal characteristics
Be open to feedback: Receive suggestions with curiosity and appreciation
Celebrate others' success: Acknowledge and appreciate great work from your peers
Learn from mistakes: View challenges as opportunities to grow together
Professional Conduct & Representation
Maintain decorum: Represent yourself and the Gamma community professionally both inside and outside the office
Respect our space: As our guests, please help keep the office clean and treat our workspace with care
Be mindful of your impact: Remember you're representing the broader Gamma community
Thoughtful social media: When sharing about Gamma Lab, represent the experience and community positively and accurately
Event Purpose & Focus
Stay mission-focused: This event is designed for learning, collaboration, and community building - not for employment discussions or recruitment
Respect boundaries: While we're excited to connect with you, please keep conversations focused on the program activities and learning objectives
Manage external commitments: We expect you to dedicate these two days to immersing yourself in Gamma and the program activities. We'll provide regular breaks for you to handle work emails and personal communication, but please minimize outside distractions during sessions.
Confidentiality & Media
Consent to filming: Be aware that we're filming for marketing purposes and your participation constitutes consent to appear on camera
Maintain confidentiality: Keep information about upcoming Gamma releases and features confidential
Respect privacy: Don't share personal information others have disclosed
Ask before sharing: Get permission before posting photos or sharing others' work externally
Consequences
Failure to adhere to this code of conduct may result in removal from the event. We want everyone to have a positive experience and will address any issues promptly and fairly.
Let's make this an amazing experience for everyone!

🚫Do not share anything from this session before September 16, 2025
✅Starting September 16, 2025 at 10:00 am PT, you are free to share — and we’d love for you to!
The sweet spot
We encourage you to share your excitement while respecting our development process. Feel free to post things like:
"They showed us some interesting stuff in development"
"Interesting to see where Gamma is headed with their product roadmap"
"Got a sneak peek at some upcoming stuff"
When in doubt
If you're unsure whether something is appropriate to share, err on the side of caution or ask a Gamma teammate. We want to help you celebrate this experience while also maintaining the element of surprise for our broader community.

What To Bring
Laptop
Please bring your laptop and charger to the office. While we have USB-C chargers available throughout the office, please don't rely on these alone and bring your own charger as backup.
Layers
September is one of SF's warmest months, but mornings and evenings can still be quite cool. Bring multiple light layers that you can adjust throughout the day as temperatures change and fog rolls in or out.
Breakfast Information
We will provide a light breakfast of pastries/bagels and fruit on both days.
Snacks, coffee, and drinks will be available all day.
Lunch Information
We use a service called Forkable for lunch! Here's how it works:
Forkable will email you a link to the menu for 9/3 and 9/4 on Friday the 29th
You will need to order your lunch by 2pm the day before delivery
That's it! Lunch will arrive on Wednesday and Thursday around 12:00pm.
Miss the deadline? You're on your own for lunch that day! Backup options nearby:
Whole Foods (hot bar and salad bar)
Next Level Burger (located adjacent to Whole Foods)
